Hi guys,

I have searched and haven't found a definite answer for my problem. I am using an iMac connected wirelessly to my airport express. I need to connect my ATT Microcell to the internet via ethernet so can I share my Airport connection with it via the ethernet port on my iMac?

Thanks!

Have you checked System Preferences > Sharing > Internet Sharing > Share your connection from (....) > To computers using: (....) yet?

I do something similar. My Primary internet connection to my iMac is wireless through Airport. I set up internet sharing from Airport to Ethernet on my Mac as described by simsaladimbamba (awesome name, not so awesome to re-type :) ) to an access point, to which all other devices in my house are attached wirelessly. It works flawlessly.

The Mac becomes a DHCP server/router, and any traffic to the internet is routed through it.

I don't know how the Microcell works, but the above configuration will give ethernet access to the internet. It just depends if the Microcell will work through NAT or not. I suspect it will, since it probably was designed to work behind a router, which your Mac will be acting as.
