This page offers two methods of contacting Apple, phone and an online form submission.

"If you own an iPhone, we’d love to hear how it’s changed your life, or your favorite story about using it. Call and leave a voicemail with your story at 1-800-764-9941, or write us. We’re all ears."

In the online form it has a placeholder in the email field: "If you're OK with us contacting you about your story."

Is another "Real People" type ad campaign coming from Apple?
 
"The iPhone changed my life! Now, I no longer have to worry about sending or receiving those pesky MMS messages! No longer is there they annoyance of a loud speakerphone, and thanks to Apple, I don't have to decide what custom ring tone I want to use! Thanks Apple, for the simplicity of the iPhone!"

Are they going to do anything with the stories that we submit or is just a form of feedback for them?
 
iPhone makes my day a whole lot more fun. When I get a call from a family member or friend, their picture comes up full screen while the song that most reminds me of them plays. (Unlike the previous posters, I have about 25 custom music ringtones) I think that makes me happier to talk to them, as it reminds me of why I care about them. Sounds silly but in my case it's true.

It's weird that Apple says you can 'cut and paste from another document'... iPhone doesn't have cut and paste, and if iPhone really changed our browsing habits, wouldn't we want to post our comments from our iPhones?
 
Umm, if a phone can change your life, that's kind of sad.
But it can make it better:
My wife runs her own law firm and spends a lot of time on the weekends at her office. I've gotten in the habit of snapping pics of whatever's going on with me and the dog and emailing them to her. She really enjoys this.
 
My Favorite iPhone Story

My favorite iPhone story occured yesterday while at a cafe. I was using it as a timer to play Boggle with my girlfriend. I had the phone laying on the table and I could hear a woman behind me pointing and exitedly talking to her son. She says "Excuse me,..." and I thought, "oh she is probably going to want to see my iPhone or let her son play with it." She continued... "where did you get that keychain version of Boggle? That is so neat!"

iPhone. $600.
Keychain Boggle Game. $5.
Look on my face when I realize they are more interested in the keychain... Priceless.

So you can save yourself some money if you want to be seen with the latest attention getter...
 
I shared two stories.

One, a story of lament about my loss of identity since purchasing the iPhone. I requested AppleCare cover this, as it seems to be a widespread problem for iPhone owners. Snippet: "This thing has ruined my life. I used to be greeted with 'Hey, how are you?' and now it's just 'Can I touch your iPhone?' ... Not that I mind having my iPhone touched, I just wish the vibrate was stronger. ... I hope AppleCare covers this loss of identity."

The second, a story of hope and fascination with the efforts to transform this otherwise sandboxed device into a mobile computer. Snippet: "When I first cracked into the iPhone with SSH, I was smiling in ways I still find disturbing. ... Through thinly-veiled allusions, I can say it was like prom night all over again."

Yup. I appreciate Apple giving me the opportunity to share these tales of hope and woe. I doubt I'll hear from them.

Actually, awhile back, Apple did a similar thing. Asked for folks' input on switching. I emailed in and actually had a woman call my cell and email me. She wanted me to send in a video of myself yappin' about my switching experience but I had no access to any recording devices so that went nowhere. :eek:

I lost all freedom due to the iPhone

I used to have periods of freedom and downtime between sessions at a computer... but since I got the iPhone (and everyone KNOWS it), I can never get away with telling someone "I didn't get your email" or "I can't be reached." Thanks to the iPhone I am now a cybernetic organism, inexorably linked to the e-consciousness. Resistance is futile.

I Got A Reply On My Story!!!!!!!!!

Well I posted a story of how I had an issue with my motorcycle while I was out and did a quick google search to figure out what was wrong, fixed it and was on my way in about 15 mins...... Well I got a response today, here it is. I wonder what they are going to do with these. I replied back and said call me anytime, I always have my iphone!!!!!:)

Dear Apple,

The iPhone has done one thing to my life: It has forced it to remain the same.

I still am on the same old cell provider. I still use my same old phone. My bank account, which has traditionally been dedicated to Apple, still has the same balance.

Why? It is all the same because the iPhone is not available in Canada. When will you come to Canada little iPhone? When can I expect my new phone to rescue me from the inevitable berating I will get from my wife for buying you? When will the mocking from my friends in California stop (mocking messages sent to me from their iPhones, I might add).

When will I be able to tell my iPhone story?

When?
