so i have an mbp, sometimes it connects perfectly to my windows desktop other times when everything seems to be the same as before it doesn't connect. mac is great for making things easy to use but when it comes down to manually preforming an action that the computer usually does automatically they make it so much harder

how do i manually connect my mbp to the desktop
