The long and the short is I was able to "share" an iCloud calendar with my wife. When she creates or edits a calendar entry, I get an email and it shows my name, instead of hers. My iCloud account is under my itunes id, her iCloud account is under her iTunes id... not sure what or where to look, or if this is in fact current/expected functinality... Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction!

Solution

I had this problem for a long time, and finally I solved it.

First I logged to appleid.apple.com and veryfied my name and my emails were correct. In my case I had to delete some incorrect emails.

My apple ID is @gmail so, I changed my main email to another account I have, in this case @yahoo.com

Then on my iPhone I deleted my iCloud account, and restored it with my new apple ID.. It seems this restored all of my personal information, and now my calendar invites show the correct name..

Hope it works for you too..

How do you share iCloud calendars? I have looked into this previously and was unable to figure it out. I currently us Google calendar setup as CalDAV to share calendars between my wife and I. I will do some more research since you are able to do it, if you could just point me in the right direction it would be most helpful.

Thanks :D
