Shared photo album, created on IPAD, not appearing on iPhone - Pls help

Hi All,

nice idea, and have got a test album working with the missus. She can view the albums i shared with her.

however, the same hared albums are not appearing on my iphone.

I’ve tried:
1. restarting Iphone
2. Waited few hours


Looking for help on Google, not luck

Please assist

Can you confirm that you have Shared Albums in the Photos settings enabled on your iPhone?

yup, that is enabled. Sorry should have said - did the steps in the you tube video

As a test, if you take a photo on your iPad now, can you see it on your phone?

just took a picture on ipad and iphone.

No apology needed. That's the beauty of this forum is that it's not live chat. We are all doing many other things while reading and posting here too, so there's no expectation of a specific response time. Hope the test is successful.

Photos uploaded and when both ways:

photo taken on iphone went to ipad
photo taken on ipad went to iphone

Took a while, as low bandwidth.

but, still no shared folder on iphone yet 😢

Just checked

Logged onto iCloud.com - shared albums are not there either

However, as I say, my other half can see the shared albums on her iphone earlier this evening?!

Will try again tomorrow now 🤔

A couple other things to try: (1) toggle the Shared Albums setting on your phone; and (2) resend the invitation from the iPad.

tried that - it said it would delete all the photos in the album!

took a while to curate - so left it

sorted now 😀

I created a shared album on iPhone... and funnily enough the missing one from ipad now appeared 😀

so much for seemless integration between apple products.... need to wiggle it a bit to get it working
