I'm using Tiger with iTunes 8.

I'm not on any local network. There's just one single computer here. However, I just created a "guest" account, and I'd like to make my iTunes library available for said account. The thing is, I have no idea how to go about doing that. There doesn't seem to be any single-button solution in the preferences. Do I need (or is it even possible) to change the read/write permissions in the "get info" window? If so, for which files? Everything in ~Music/iTunes?

(Ideally, the guest should only be able to listen to the songs, not add or delete anything, but that's not absolutely necessary.)

What I've done is put my iTunes folder in the "Shared" folder (that can be accessed by all user accounts). Then I make an alias of the iTunes folder and stick the alias back into the original spot in the users directory.

I'm not sure if this works for the standard guest account structure, but it works for my wife and I. We share the same iTunes and iPhoto folder. ;)
