Sharing a link with the Share button in Safari makes Safari crash

It's not just using 'share'
every time I so much as hover over the 'share' or pass over it to get to an option below it, such as Export as PDF -- it crashes. so if you're in the habit of using the mouse to get around that menu, STOP, use keyboard shortcuts. It's the only way. It drives me nuts. I don't even want to use it, i just want it gone from my menu and my life.
BTW, this is not just with Mavericks, I had the same problem with Lion. And I find the same complaint from 2007.
