Hello,
Thanks for all the previous help.
Great Forum and folks.
In my mid 80's now, so will blame my ignorance on that.
Running Mojave on a iMac, and also have a W10 pc.
Both are connected via Ethernet (hard wired) to my Router.
Would like to be able to share documents, files, etc from one to the other.
Presently doing it with a USB Memory Stick which is driving me crazy.
Read about "Sharing" and SMB.
Never knew it was there, and usable for this.
Might someone, please, if they get a spare few minutes guide
me thru the setup for this "Sharing" on both of my computers.
Step by step, explicit, how-to would really be great.
Not too sharp with this "stuff" any more, and miss a lot of the nuances.
Tried to find a good basic tutorial on doing it, but could only come up with
some that seem to be for OS versions way before Mojave.
BTW: I guess you can share with this, apparently, docs and files.
What can't you ? e.g. can Programs, Apps, etc. be shared ?
Is this the simplest way for pretty simple and basic items ?
Or, something easier and "better" to purchase and/or use ?
Much thanks,
Bob
