Totally acceptable. You just make an account per person that's going to join you. Now, this assumes that they'll pay their part of the pack and the yearly subscription pack... Because otherwise you'd be stuck paying for all of them :[

I know you can upgrade from a single user to a family pack and keep the same account, but if you later decide you don't want/need the multiple accounts anymore, is it possible to downgrade back to a single user account and keep everything from the main account?

Very good question!! That would have been my next one. Anyone with insight?

I'm pretty sure you can. I have a master account on a family pack, and when you go to me.com and look at your account settings, it gives you the options to renew the main account ($99) and a separate option to renew the family pack ($50). I've never had to worry about renewing (since I just got it in April) so I don't know for sure but that is my guess.

The one who puts up the dough gets the master account with more storage. That's kind of nice. You can definitely downgrade to individual accounts, you just need to speak with support I believe. I've been sharing a family pack since the 3G launch last summer, and I've loved having the service.
