Hey guys,

After a recent horrendous run-in with Dropbox support I've switched to mobileme.

So far I'm liking it tons! Only one feature is quite needed for me. Sharing files from Finder.

I cannot find a way to do this. Anyone experienced with this?

Maybe the solution is easy, but I haven't found it, even after searching.

(running 10.6.6)

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but if you're wanting to share files over MobileMe, I think you have to drag and drop to the desired folder on your iDisk. Make sure you have the iDisk set to appear on your desktop. You can choose to keep a copy of your iDisk on your local HD, and then just use the iDisk for documents, rather than users/you/documents. This way, you can have mirrored files on each Mac you use.

Not really what I mean, let me elaborate.

I'd like to be able to click on a mobileme file in finder (from the iDisk folder) and share it like I would when I log in to me.com.

Like this, but from Finder.

That functionality isn't supported as far as I know, although it would be great to be able to share specific files across multiple Macs directly from the Finder. I imagine the closest thing to what you want is dropping a file in the Public folder of iDisk.

Xeperu. You can share your files with your local iDisk (in the finder) or your online iDisk @ Me.com.

To do so locally, in your finder, on a Mac (YOUR LOCAL IDISK MUST BE "TURNED ON"):

• If you are on a Mac go to: Syst Prefs / MobileMe / iDisk...
• Once there, You will see the location url to give to someone.
• You can also set a password if you like etc.
• Then put files in your iDisk / Public folder and share the location (and password) with whom you want to share files with...

To get to your public folder go to: https://public.me.com/yourusername

You can also share files in your iDisk (online) by logging into Me.com / iDisk

Hope this helps you...

Note - iDisk is much slower then dropbox... I use both
