I am thinking of getting an Apple Tv to add to my home theater. My question is if I buy one can I connect it to my wireless network and then use the Ethernet port to push internet out to the Ethernet port in my Blu-ray player? Thanks in advance for your time.

Sorry, no.

My experience leads me to believe the best way to handle this is to run ethernet to your tv if you possibly can. Then, just use a cheap 10\100 network switch to add enough ports for your other devices.

Wireless networks are decent, but not ideal for streaming media. In the long run, you'll have much better results with a wired connection. And that's doubly true if you have more than a few wireless devices in your place. The more you have the worse they all work.

No problem, man. :) I'll tell you, I really love my ATV 2. It's a really great device.
