iPod sharing library - forgot password

can i reset or remove the password for sharing my library between my iMac and macbook?

Open your iTunes preferences, go to the Sharing tab. Under the options for looking for shared libraries and sharing the existing one, will be a checkmark for requiring a password. Disabling does not require a password, but re-enabling it will allow you to input a different password than you previously had.
