I'd imagine this is going to become a perpetual thread. Everybody wants to show off their music. :)

I tried to host a LAN party tonight. That was fine, but I spent most of the night trying to get the game servers to work for a few friends who were connecting remotely. So I ended up playing Quake for about 20 minutes and the rest of the time scratching my head and changing config files.

Everybody but one person had left and I was showing my friend GarageBand (I just bought it the day before). So we decided to write a song about the debacle of a LAN party.

No percussion yet (didn't have a MIDI keyboard and hadn't read about the software you can use for that), but after owning GarageBand for 24 hours, I'm pretty happy with what I can already squeeze out of it.

Warning: there are adult lyrics in this song.

I like them well enough, but I can't say they make regular rotation. This is probably more of a Tenacious D ripoff than anything. :)
 
Nice.

Did I sense a tiny bit of Bowie influence there? Obviously not on the chorus but in the verses I got a hint of Space Oddity or something.

Or am I way off. ;)
