I am able to share notes via email, though is there a way to share a note so someone else can make changes to it on their device or computer?

Thanks.

Slightly old thread but I just discovered sharing a note via iMessage just sends someone the header with any images...all my links aren't included and it doesn't share as an actual 'note' like i'd thought it would. Glad i tested it by sending it to myself before sending it to anyone else and looking a fool!

Pages does this pretty well. You can either let anyone with a link edit or add a password. I think Apple wants you to use their iWork suite for any collaboration.

Also with android/win/linux?
iCloud.com works with Safari 5, Chrome 27, FireFox 21, and Internet Explorer 10.

If I share the document with my Nexus 5, I can view the iCloud document preview, but iCloud wants me to open the document on a desktop browser. Requesting the desktop site works though.

so it is basicly same as google docs?
Pretty much. It's just up to which interface/features you like better.

The benefit to Google Docs is that they have an app for Android and iOS, but Apple's solution is browser-based.
-That isn't a sentence that I thought I would ever say after the introduction of Chromebook.

it seems to be working the same way.

i tried the browser version to see how it is working. i noticed immediately that icloud.com is slow and all the time i was getting an error message which says that something went wrong and had two buttons: "reload" or "submit the error msg to apple" when i shared the document and used the shared link as a quest to access that file. didnt convince me to start using it...
