I wonder if anyone has ever come across this problem. I use my Address Book constantly, often adding details in my own vCard (e.g. library card, railcard, supermarket card nos.) and to others (names of children, spouse, etc.). How do I limit these information being shown when I share a Contact's vCard with someone else. I really would rather that these personal details/fields don't show up when I share a Contact's details.

Any ideas would be appreciated?

I have 2 different contact cards for myself in Contacts/Address Book - one which is complete and one I use for sharing. That way I have access to both options depending on my needs.

The "full info" one is assigned as my profile for my Mac and iDevices.

Yeah..As stated by previous post. Only way to limit your own details that is shared is to have a duplicate of your own info, as for the other contacts there is no native way to limit the info contained in the vCard you share...Might be possible with 3rd party app for contact management, but can't confirm since i don't have any need for it thus have not searched for it.
