Hello,

When booted into El Capitan I was looking at 'Get Info" for my Pictures folder (Snow Leopard) and the sharing and Permissions had a user called "Fetching..." with Read & Write privilege. Any idea what this is?

Thanks!

I'm running EI Capitan without this problem.
Do you mean you updated your Snow Leopard to El Capitan and then get this problem?
Hope this post is helpful for you.

Sorry I should have been more specific. I have El Capitan and Snow Leopard installed on separate partitions. I was booted into El Capitan and accessing the Pictures folder (located on Snow Leopard).

I did not notice 'fetching...' on any other folder that I looked at. I wondered whether it had something to do with the Iphoto - Photos transition but I really don't know.
