Sharing with iCloud doesn't work

Hi,

I was testing some stuffs with my photos. With iCloud, I decided to not sync any photos, but I allowed sharing with iCloud. To test it, I shared one picture to my email with iCloud, but it didn't work. The picture is in "shared" tab, but I didn't receive any email saying "X is sharing Y album with you".

Is it normal or I didn't understand something?

I was thinking that when inviting someone by taping the email, it was sending an invite by email like "XX invite you to see Y album in iCloud" Maybe it's just because I invite myself, so it didn't work.
