When you decide for survival that its a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket, because your screwed otherwise, it seems like a very bleak last ditch attempt at survival...

It will be interesting to see how that IGZO technology plays into future alliances and their current partnership with Apple.

Its long been rumored Apple would utilize this tech, and seeing as Sharp is the chief (maybe the only?) supplier of this tech, they might be able to use it as a bounce-back method.

I've been figuring for some time the best use of those IGZO screens would be in the iPad mini retina - where power savings and squeezing a huge number of pixels into a tight spot is needed - both features IGZO does better than anything.
