I can't believe today I went to tag a song...and it wont allow me! Ive had this app since the beginning when the appstore opened! 5 tags a month is ridiculous!

Wait. I thought those that had the original app were grandfathered in on the premium features...

I'd never notice the difference. Never use it.

I just got that message as well.

I am now debating whether I should delete it or not. Apparently asking for my location, shoving ads at me, and getting referrals is not enough for a business.

I just tried this, as I have had the app from the beginning as well. It allowed me to tag 8 songs in a row, so it didn't cap me at 5.

Thank goodness I got Midomi Soundhound when it was free. This app runs laps around Shazam. Seriously? ads even on the paid version? Don't get me wrong I had this on my phone since it debut and then they got too greedy so I used this one.

Plus soundhound allows you to hum a song and it will locate it.

it used to be free with no restrictions

this is why i dont update apps

horrible practice

It's still free with no restrictions, if you're grandfathered. However, I don't understand why some who are supposedly grandfathered are getting the tag limit.

My problem with Shazam is that some months ago I noticed it never figures out ANY songs. Not even one. EVER. It used to be perfect.
