Shift/Caps key not functioning after JB

iPhone 4 on 4.0, jailbroken last night and then fixed via Cydia update.

I just noticed while typing an email that when pressing the shift/caps key, it doesn't stay lit and I can't capitalize letters. After a period, it auto-capitalizes, but can't do it other than that.

Anybody else experience this?

I wonder what I installed that may have broken it?

Is this not a setting somewhere?

When i first got my iPhone 4 double tapping the shift key wouldn't lock it on. I then tried it the other day and it was suddenly working. Not sure why

Yeah, double tap to lock is, but now it's not working with even just a single click for one character.

Playing with it some more, it's that spot on the keyboard. When I switch to symbols, it won't let me get to the second pae of symbols because pressing the button does the same thing.

This is weird.
