Shift key feels spongy on Butterfly 2 keyboard

As soon as I started using this new MacBook Pro I felt something is weird with the keyboard. The shift keys do not feel as clicky as the rest of the keys. They feel a bit spongy as if something sticky is underneath them, and the click also sounds different.

Do any of you have this problem? I wonder if my keyboard is defective or it's normal for everyone.

The space key does seem to feel like there is more travel than the rest of the keys. Not really an issue
