My father has a problem, when he tries to drag false spam from the set folder (which is local, because the size of spam) back to inbox, the mail disappears.
I guess something goes wrong, because spam folder is local and the false spam is dragged (or "put back" with the button) to IMAP inbox.
I tried to instruct him, with screen sharing, to start Mail in "safe-mode" with shift pressed, but there was nothing visible happening. other than Message Viewer did not open at start.
Does this "shift-safe-mode" work in Catalina's Mail?
Is there any way to monitor, if it's doing something in safe mode?
Why there is no support article about this safe mode?
After going to safe mode, would rebuilding be necessary?
What this safe more, if it exist, even does?
It is so hard these days to find helping articles, because the publishers updates the dates of articles and just changes few words in article, like os version.
Next step is naturally hiding envelope files and then rebuilding the whole Mail database.
