Has anybody else noticed that the icons on the iPhone 6 Plus are lower than usual? It seems like every app has to resize shortly after opening.

I had that happen once on my iPhone 6, and a hard reset fixed it.

Since you're on a 6 Plus, see if switching to horizontal orientation and back to portrait fixes that.

I had that issue with my iPad... I just rebooted it & it went back to normal.

What's worked for me so far:
1) Reboot in landscape mode
2) Reboot while in an app not suffering from the Status Bar bug, like the Settings app

Also, please use the Feedback app so this can be corrected.

Sent a feedback message to Apple.

Unfortunately rebooting in landscape and rebooting in settings hasn't resolved the problem. This may need to wait for the next beta

I had that and missing camera shortcut on the lock screen and the only thing that fixed both issues was resetting all settings.

Resetting all settings did the trick for me as well. Thanks for the tip!

This is all caused by the way backgrounded apps that use voice are handled. I wish Apple made it more modern and did't make the status bar double in size and become an ugly green or red color. It should an icon next to the battery like the Location Services arrow is and pulling down Notification center should have a shortcut to the active app instead.

Similar behaviour on my 6 plus. Status bar &Icon grid shifted down with normal location of status bar showing top of my background wallpaper. A restart solved issues with no further instances.
