iPhone X Shipment notifications (carrier)

When do shipment notifications get sent? I ordered via Verizon this year as i have verizons new every year since last year. The order confirmation states deliver by 9/21 but also says ship by 9/21. I havenet been charged yet so was wondering when i would get the notofication and possibly when i may see my new phone?
