Other Shipping date coming forward?

Anybody ever had their shipping date come forward on any previous iPhone launch day order?

Yes, it did happen last year to a few folks.

Yes it does happen, especially for people who live near one of the major freight carrier hubs where the flights from Shenzhen land and the product is then shipped onward to the final destination.

It happened to me a few years ago and I'm hoping the same thing happens this time around. I'm on IUP but by the time I got through, shipping dates had slipped. I think this was for the 12 and IUP folks were piiiiissed. IIRC a few days later the dates updated and I got it on launch day. Hoping I don't spread false hope here, but sending some positive vibes.

BTW this time I got Delivers Oct 4-9, Standard shipping, and I was F5'ing/Restarting app on multiple browsers and devices from 8:00 ET. I finally got it to kind of connect via the app around 8:14 ET, but after hitting the final Place Order button it errored out. I got an email a few seconds later. Hoping the dates come in 🤞🏻

Apple typically aims to deliver 7 days sooner than the quoted date, but guarantees it by that date. "Set expectations low and over-deliver".
