Hey Guys,

A friend of mine in the US has bought an iPad for me and is planning to FedEx it to me overnight. My question is - any tips on the best way to avoid being charged customs/taxes? Should I have my friend remove it from it's original box and put it in another box? Should i accurately declare it's worth, or is that a red flag.

I realize these are probably stupid questions, but if I can avoid paying any more than I already am - that would be great :)

Thanks and looking forward to my new toy!

Avoiding customs is illegal. If you don't want to pay customs get him to fly over and hand it to you himself, or vice versa. Or you can wait for the official release.
