I sold my iPad on ebay (to get a 3G model) and have been patiently waiting for a payment. Finally i recieved the payment this morning (pay pal) and after that an email that says : "very sorry seller.
I hope cancel this biding.
now korean comstoms reject ipad.
sorry.
I think if you ipad send to me. and korean cumstoms return it.

very sorry."

I looked this up and can't find anything about a ban of ipads in Korea. AND have already received the paypal payment. Athough the balance is still "pending" so is there a way he can pull that money back out? Now that it's already paid for?

And mostly, Is there really an ipad ban in Korea??!

Why create problems for yourself. Inform him of the custom's lift. If he still doesn't feel comfortable just give return the money and put the iPad back up for sale. You'll be better off long term not taking the risk of having it returned or stuck in customs.

I'd just return his money and relist too.
(Anyways, the iPad doesn't support Korean keyboard inputs last time I checked, so you're probably doing him a service to cancel the sale and just re-list.)
