if u order an iMac and it says ships within 1-3 days how many days would it usually take to come on the standard shipping?

Depends on where it ships from. I ordered a Mac Mini CTO from Apple online just a few weeks ago and it took just over a week to arrive at my house from order time.
A good rule of thumb is most standard shipping (not just Apple) takes 3 business days (from being shipped out). There are times in which the item arrives too late in the day so it takes 4 days, but this is rare.

I placed an order yesterday morning 10:30ish. The free iPod shipped same day, but they quoted 1-3 days to build my mac as I customized some internal components from the standard config. Apparently its put together "overseas" which I think means China. The Apple rep bumped my shipping to 2-day for free.
Nothing. I just mentionned I was excited to get it cause it was my first Mac

I purchased a Mac Mini on July 21st and upgraded to 4gig of ram from the standard 2gig. I paid for 2 day shipping and it's still sitting in China today July 25th. It was shipped on the 22nd and set for Clearance since then. Shows it's at the FedEx facility there. Now this could be a FedEX thing but who knows. It says it is to be delivered on July 27th. So instead of my 2 day shipping it is going to take 5 days to ship. I am asking for a refund on the shipping charges.
Did it come in 2 days? I was also told that my replacement will come with fastest shipping but it took over a week and when I got the carrier's paper there was "Normal Shipping" or something.
my order now shows 2 day shipping. Apple quotes that it takes 1-3 days of internal processing before it ships, then the shipping time applies. I think there is a misconception that you will get the computer from 2 days or ordering in this thread. It will be here tomorrow and it will be 2 business days since it shipped. I ordered on Wednesday morning (customized it), it shipped thursday night (so as far as shipping is concerned Friday morning)
i just ordered my imac last night. july 26. CANT WAITTTT. i got the standard shipping. it says that it will be here anytime from july 30- august 5th
