Hey I am in the UK, I ordered a MBP & iPod Touch last thursday; they were given a crazy long estimate for arrival of like 5th Nov.

Much to my delight the status changed to shipped on Monday and I got all excited until I realised they were being shipped from overseas, no idea where but I presume china.

I'm curious as to how long this part usually takes as whether by boat or plane would make quite a difference, I know once it arrives UPS takes over and then it should be 1-2 days max.

Just hoping the estimate is a little off is all, desperate to get my hands on my new toy :D

Hey,

Yeah my Macbook Pro was shipped today, and they are sayin, 5th-6th expected delivery date, thats 2 weeks, i think i may cry if i have to wait that long! This will be my first mac and i hate windows, I just wanna put my macbook pro on and be happy

Ah thankyou, that thread was partly helpful, I see it seems to take 4 days from shanghai to arnhem, then 3 from arnhem to you, so roughly 7 days total suggesting I will recieve it Mon/Tues. Pity was hoping for this week :(

But I actually rang apple and they said mine would be delivered by UPS once in the UK, and when I check the order page it say "carrier details to be updated later", so I am unable to check where it is right now unfortunately.

when u buy an uncustomised comptuer it is gonna ship a bit latter than usual
even worse

if u buy more than two items, then it is even latter

i bought a MBP on sep26th with an airport extreme + apple keyboard + an iPod
and guess what
i recieved them (but not the iPod) on oct19th 23 days latter

i signed to post man paper and when i checked my purchase history they said the ipod is delivered

they are running some kind of investigation and hopefully they are gonna get my ipod to its home.

i bought an iMac + an iPod on oct4th, received it oct 17th.
