Shipping times on 2011 Mac Mini

Just a random question, where do custom BTO mac minis ship from? I want to place an order for a new mac mini but it is going to be a BTO configuration. The catch is I am going to be leaving out of town next weekend and won't be around for about a week.

Do BTO Apples still ship from China like they did last time I ordered a BTO mac? Or are they shipped from someplace in the US?

Just trying to know if I should order sooner (if I will be able to receive the mac before I leave) or if I should wait until after I get back.

FWIW I'm in the eastern US (Michigan).

Last time I ordered, which was about two weeks ago, it came out of Shenzhen China. My BTO took three days before it shipped and then another 4-5 days to get to me. Thats business days.

I'd say you're cutting it too close for a BTO if leaving this weekend.

That's what I thought. Guess I will have to wait until I get back then.

Or more likely, order it right around when I leave so by the time I get back, it should be just about to my house
