Anyone else having shipping issues? My MBP was ordered 11/16 and was scheduled to arrive next week. I was going to be out of town for two weeks so I changed the shipping address (the order is still processing) I looked today and now it won’t arrive until 1/6-1/20. I contacted Apple and they said that changing the address could have caused the delay and offered to change it back, which I had to do since I won’t be at the other address in January. Anyone else experiencing anything similar?

Unfortunately you have inadvertently joined a “late shipping” club that has many members  Just search the forums and there are many references to shipping issues with all carriers.

It seems the largest delay was not manufacturing, but the ability to get beyond their Nov 20th lock down due to export restrictions. There is a massive back stock of iPhone 12's and Mac Mini's that have only last week started to leak out of Shenzhen, China. Many of those items left Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong on the 3rd of December destined for the US. If all goes well many Mac Mini's will land in the US this week for delivery on the same.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max that I ordered and did not arrive, nor was it shipped (contrary to having a UPS tracking number from Apple), I ended up cancelling. Later that afternoon I received a conformation that the Replacement that I did not order was shipped and would be to me by that following Friday. It did arrive on Friday as shown, unfortunately the following Tuesday (12/1) I received another email from Apple telling me my new iPhone 12 Pro Max was due to arrive on 12/4. It seems to me like Apple and their Chinese mfg need to be doing a lot better on communications, and expectations.

Ps. Don't call Apple support because it is horrible. After five calls they (three ladies from India, and two from Atlanta - yes, they were actually from Atlanta, as I'm from Panama City and call tell the accent) effectively told me WAIT, and I could return one or more after they arrived. This was contrary to the order on Apple that informed me none of my orders were eligible for return as my 14 day period had lapsed (At the time I had not received anything from Apple, so the clock never started).

I had ordered a 16/512 MacBook Air a few weeks ago which just arrived yesterday. It actually shipped a couple weeks ahead of the original estimate and there was no customs delay getting out of China. This one shipped via DHL.

Ordered a new 27" iMac (stock) for my folks as a Christmas present
I received a UPS alert last week that it was supposed to be delivered this past Saturday
It was not delivered
However, the UPS tracking still lists last Saturday's date as date of delivery -- so much for getting it before Christmas

Well, it is January 7, 2021 and I still do not have the iMac

I have spoken to customer support a few times in the past week
Each time the representative assured me the investigation would be completed soon and they would ship out a new iMac
Yesterday, the representative told me I would have an answer by the end of the day - there was no communication from Apple by end of business yesterday so I reached out to customer service via chat today

They told me there were no updates and they are still investigating where the iMac is

I asked them to cancel the order and informed them I would just order a new iMac

The rep informed me that they could not cancel the order as it is still under investigation but that I could order a new computer and then return the original iMac once it was delivered

WTF - this was ordered back on Dec. 4th -- it is obiovus someone at UPS has a brand new iMac now and I am sitting here without the computer I ordered being told the investigation would be completed yesterday and now the rep tells me it is ongoing and there are no updates

Come on Apple!!!
