Ships BY July 14th....?

Does this mean it can ship before the 14th, or it will ship on the 14th? Maybe someone who has back ordered in the past can help here.

This means it will leave China on or a few days before July 14th. Then a couple more days after that it will get delivered to you.

He means china will ship it a couple of days before july 14th so you can get it on july 14th or a day or two sooner.

A couple days after it ships. It usually takes 2 to 3 days to get from China to you.

So for example mine shipped on the 20th and is getting here on the 23rd.

From the people I've spoken to at Apple, you'll most likely get it at the later date of July 19th because of the current demand they are dealing with. Although this is sad, at least you'll get one.

"Ships by" mean Apple will ship on that date. It's not the same as "Deliver by".
