Hi All,

Wiggle App - will not accept password on safari, Ipad and Iphone - any idea why not?

Is this going to happen with all other web sites I visit to buy stuff as well?!

I haven’t done a lot of shopping outside of amazon, this is my 1st flurry, so this is bit of a shock. In the end I just downloaded the Wiggle app, and did my purchase in the APP - I don’t fancy having to install an app for every place I want to buy stuff from!

Hope you can advise
Best wishes
Martin

PS:
I have an ad blocker set up on Safari - Firefox. Could this be the issue?!

Is Safari on the Iphone / Ipad the safest browesr to buy things on? It would be a pain if I need to turn off Ad blockers.

Or am I better to just down the Apps to the mainstream web sites?

Thanks B,

A reply at last! :)

I’ll try taking off ad blocker and trying again

If it is the Ad blocker, not sure what I’ll do. Safari is my go to browser, and it is so much quicker, and less cluttered screeens with Ad blocker on

I may use another browser for purchases etc.

What I do is temporarily turn off the blocker for a site when needed, and turn it back on afterward. I use Safari 99% of the time. The other 1% is Brave, Epic, or FireFox.

hi B,

Just tried that.

Yup, that was the problem!

I may do that as well, and just keep using safari for everything. Bit of a pain to get use to the oddities per browser etc.

Thanks

Ahhh... I just tried Strava as well. the login is fixed by this as well.

HHHmmmm.... will need to think of how best to do this. This turning on/off the ad Blocker will be bit of a pain after a while!

The iOS paradigm is very app driven, I really suggest you to just use the native apps if available. They don’t take much space & are optimised for the iOS experience.

I believe you can configure things with Safari where the content/ad blocker can be disabled just particular sites you visit -- basically it would happen on its own for those sites and you don't have to worry about turning off or on again on your own.

Hi C,

Any idea how to do this?
I’ve looked around and can’t figure it out.

Cheers

Hi A,

Best bit of advise tonight :)

BTW:
I got it working by adjusting the Ad Blocker.

The last blocking option in FIREFOX FOCUS was to “Block other content trackers“ - it gave the warning “Some websites may behave unexpectedly“ as opposed to pretty worrying other tracking in all the previous options.

When I 1st set up, I just turn all the options on.

The fix:
I went back again to the options.
turn’t off the last one, described above
Tried Wiggle and Strava

Viola - both works! Issue solved :)
