EDIT: This only happens when the Shortcuts app is open. If you close the Shortcuts app (by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and then swiping up on the Shortcuts app) and try to execute the shortcut from the search results, it works.

Just now experimenting with Shortcuts, and discovered a peculiar behavior. I created a shortcut to record a video with the default setting of "Start Recording: Immediately" and then it saves it to the Photos app. I also added it to the Home Screen. When I tap the shortcut on the Home Screen, it works correctly. However, if I search for it (by swiping down from the center of the Home Screen) and tap on it from the search results, it does NOT start recording immediately. Am I missing something here or is this a bug? iOS 14.6. See video below:

Additionally you might consider showing us/share your shortcut, so one try to replicate your problem.

No problem here on 14.6 executing it from wherever - home screen, search, Siri.

Ok, I can now be more specific after playing around with it some more. It DOES work from search, but only if the Shortcuts app isn't already open. If you try to do it a 2nd time without first closing the Shortcuts app (and by closing, I mean swiping up from the bottom of the screen and then swiping up on the Shortcuts app), it won't work. If you close the app and try again from search, it works. So apparently this is still a bug.

Here's an updated video showing this:
