Any help with these questions will be greatly appreciated.

1. In developing a shortcut I added a new Directory action with 3 entries (1, 2, 3) which I had entered in sequence. When I ran the shortcut the dictionary entries were shown as 1, 2, 3.
Later I added additional entries 4 & 5 also in sequence. This time when I ran my shortcut all the entries were listed but were NOT shown in order.
Is there a way to keep the directory entries (defined in sequence) in sequence when I run my shortcut?

2. When I add a new action to a shortcut it always appears at the end, which means that I have to move it to its proper place.
The Shortcuts app sometimes crashes as I’m try to move the new action within my shortcut.
Is there a way to add a new action by indicating where it should be placed amongst existing actions?

Thanks,
Frank M

I found a potential problem with question #1.
I used a Split Text action to build my Directory. Maybe this is causing the out-of-sequence issue.
Will try to hard-code the directory and see what happens.

Sorry should have said Dictionary and not Directory in the above posts.

In regard to question #1, I went back and created a new dictionary action by hard-coding in the entries for that action.
When I ran the shortcut I had no sequence problems.
But, the Shortcuts app would still have a problem if the dictionary was built using a Split Text action.

PS: the only reason I used the Split Text action to build the dictionary in question was to better understand how to develop Dictionary actions within a shortcut.
Trying to improve on my development of Shortcuts, so I try a lot of different things to see if I can get them to work as expected.
