Resolved Shortcut of Downloads Folder on Desktop

Hi guys,

I'm new on mac, trying to create a downloads shortcut on my desktop but couldn't find it. Yes, i can create a a folder desktop and direct the safari's downloads to that folder, but i want to drag the original downloads folder to desktop which also located in on the dock. Can you help me with this ? Thank you.

Go to Macintosh HD --> Users --> Your Username --> Right Click the Downloads folder --> Click Make Alias --> Move that newly created Alias shortcut to Desktop.
