I'm using a 2019 i9 iMac running Safari 16.6 in MacOS Monterey 12.6.8. As you know, by default, when you create a new bookmark (cmd-D), Safari puts it at the bottom of the bookmarks list. But if it's a bookmark I plan to access frequenntly, I instead want it positioned towards the top.
Currently, I can do that by manually dragging the new bookmark to the top. But, even at the fastest speed (you can adjust the speed by how high you position the bookmark while Safari scrolls up through the sidebar), it take 25s on my machine.
Thus I'd like to know if there is any way this can be accomplished with a shortcut.
Yes, I could break up my bookmarks into folders, so there's not as much to scroll through. By I like the flat structure where everything is directly visible.
