Where is the shortcuts app in iOS 12? I don't see it. I see shortcuts in the Siri section of settings. I thought there was an actual app.

I hope Siri shortcuts app gets released in the next few weeks.

I deleted workflow, and then tried to download it again, and it turned into shortcuts.

If you already have Workflow, but don't see an update, go to the App Store and search for Workflow. Open the app detail page and you should see it turn to Shortcuts.

Updated to Shortcuts, but it still says Workflow and has the old icon on my device. Anyone else having this happen?

Ok anyone see anything better than what was available in the iOS 12 GM?

I was hoping so see more apps to script, but I was obviously hoping for too much too soon.

Woow. Great app.

Okay, it‘s in very very early beta stage but Apple can push this app to a whole new level.

I like the idea of workflow and hope it‘s gets better and bettr in the future.

I was thinking that the apps would appear in discrete categories in Shortcuts, but I've found you need to drill a little deeper to find them. For example, to access the actions for the Drafts app, you actually need to delve into the apps category, where you will find those actions.

trying the prebuilt tip calc and it's skipping the prompt where it asks for tip %.

Its not in beta. Early stages yes, but beta, not any longer.

Odd.

I don't have an apps category. It's possible it shows up if you have apps that enable shortcuts installed.

This is a bit of a disappointment because I was looking forward to this as a way to get around Siri/HomeKit snubbing by Nest/Ring/iRobot and their ilk.

Also, check under Siri Suggestions at the top of the action list.
