I created an incredibly simple shortcut because I want to be able to take Markdown and paste it as rich text:
But the result is that the only item on the system clipboard is a version in html (public.html), and while this pastes fine into Notes, apps like Mail and TextEdit just ignore it when I try to paste.
(Oddly, HTML is a distinct format in Shortcuts, over and above Markdown and rich text.)
I can't find a way round this. Any thoughts much appreciated. Ideally I'd paste the minimum formatting possible, so that (e.g.) the default font and size of the doc I'm pasting into is retained. (The minimal HTML generated would be perfect for this if it was accepted.)
