Hello -

I need some help in designing a shortcut. Here is the scenario -

I am required to be the wakup alarm clock for my daughter every day. Instead of me trying to remember and calling, I can use shortcuts app to build that automation and do it for me.

here is where I am stuck:

I designed the automation to run at 5 Am daily, and give a facetime audio call to my kid.

Help I need is : Put phone on speaker and once the call is connected, speak a text like "This is your morning alarm, have a nice day"

Any help or suggestions on how I can make this work ?

Thanks,

Hello all - any suggestions on how to make this possible ? thx.

I don't think you can set up her iPhone to do that…but what's the difference between that and:

  1. Recording a voice speaking that text and saving the file as .m4r
  2. Adding the recording to the iPhone's ringtones
  3. Setting up an alarm using the added recording as the sound

The only difference I can see is the sound of the iPhone ringing before the text is spoken. You could add that when creating the .m4r.

Like this idea, let me try for few days and see how it goes..

thank you :)
