Shortcuts: saving photos as files?

My shortcut for doing so where I just have a block "Save Photos as files" stopped working in iOS 18. I want to save photos in the files app in any selected directory.

That’s actually clever. I much prefer folders > albums as it’s much easier and faster to browse, sort, mode, delete…and it’s not just a big black hole with absolutely everything in it. Photos is always such a mess after a while….not that long while either. I’m stealing this idea and see where it takes me

Tap on "Files" in the Save. Maybe the selected folder name/value got messed up somehow. Or check the subpath value in Save, if used, to see if correct value.

Shortcuts can be quirky at times: seen where something works in one release and stops in another.

All my Saves have been working since initial 18 release.

Yep, I just had to select the folder again. Idk why it just stopped working one day when it was working fine previously, I wonder if it has to do with IF statements changing in iOS 18 (which this shortcut uses), now If statements can have multiple conditions.

USUALLY, in similar situations...it's usually always some sort of revoked or reset permissions after a reboot/upgrade etc.
