I don't think apple should be nervous. I would much rather spend 20 more dollars and get the much-better iPod. And I'm sure other people who are not yet mp3 player owners would too.

It's a nice looking device in fairness, but I want a new ipod.

My 60gb ipod is almost full and dont want to waste money just buying the 80gb one as it would be full in another year, so come on apple, release a 100-120gb ipod and I'll buy one tommorow :)

In all the videos that I have seen, you need to click up and down to scroll through menu items and music on the zune. Nothing beats the scroll wheel, in my opinion, it's what makes the iPod.

Price war.
And the consumers rejoice! There's little stopping Apple from matching any price point Microsoft sets (or vice versa), the hardware costs should be quite similar.

I do not see what is holding apple back from dropping to $199 in the near future. If all of the articles on what the price of the iPod for Apple is then it should be no problem. Especially considering that microsoft has wi-fi in theres. Not that I want wi-fi but that along with the bigger screen should add at least $40 to microsoft's production cost.

I think the Zune looks cheap and nasty. I think if anything Apple should be relieved....

Especially since Microsoft inexplicably decided to not include the ability to play Microsoft PlayForSure protected WMA files.
