We all like to bash MS but many of you have MS products. Is it right to buy their products when you don't like them? Is it hypocritical?

Buy something if it fits what you need, at a price your happy with.

I have MS products, I have Apple products. I don't really care who makes them.

Refusing to buy from one company in particular for some pseudo cult like reason is childish and pointless.

Speak for yourself.
I certainly don't *bash* Microsoft anymore than I *bash* Jobs, Inc.
Quite frankly, I don't like Apple much, but I still buy their stuff.
I buy what I need.

+1!

I don't understand those who only buys something because of the brand. Windows isn't bad, why would over 80% of people use if it was? Apple's products are too limited, only few choices and availability and support is limited

careful with generic examples based on quantity. Since when is many a proof of quality? Just take a look at some of the leaders that get democratically elected.

Anyway, buy what you need at the price you wish to spend. Who cares what logo it carries.

I make exception of those goods that sponsor directly/indirectly some charitable venture.

I'm with you two.

I like a lot of Apple's stuff but I also dislike some of it. I just pick the tools which suit the job and I'm not that bothered who it's from.
