My 32gb 3Gs 3.1.2 - 5.11.07 - New bootrom was pwnaged and now STUCK in DFU mode (appears totally dead) While I've searched high and low I am 99% sure there is no way to restore it back apart from the official way.
Now should bite the bullet and hit the restore button and wait for the 3.1.3 jail/unlock or just leave it for now and see what new tools will be out hopefully very shortly?
The reason I am considering restoring now ...
I am concern if I don't Official restore it now to 3.1.3 and Apple decide to release a new firmware with the ipad launch. I will then be forced to update to that new firmware and holdout even longer for a jb/unlock after 3.1.3.
Does this make sense?
