Hi,

I'm currently on a 1.0.2 unlocked iPhone. I had decided its about time to get up to date. First question, is it fine to vriginize the 1.0.2 then just update to a virginized 1.1.3 then preform the usual jailbreaks and unlocks? My main problem, I understand I need installer on my iPhone, (I'm on windows) I try and install installer.app with iBrickr but it wont install any of the apps onto my phone, installer or any others from that list, any suggestions?

Thanks a lot,
Chris

Thanks, but my biggest problem is, i can't install anything onto my iphone! it is jailbroken 1.0.2 and im using ibricker 0.91 and i use to be able to install things, but nothing will install on it now, when i click 'report' it says it has installed the software but its not on the phone, it does a softstart and everything. I need to put installer onto my phone to updrage it, any ideas?

Just an idea... If the 1.1.3 unlock works, then you should be able to let iTunes upgrade you and jailbreak & unlock from there. You could certainly do it from 1.1.2. I know it's a lot of work, but you might also be better off with a clean start.

I'd just want to wait a little and see how sucessful the new unlock is before I committed to doing anything that I couldn't get out of.

I found apptapp installer for 1.0.2! im running it, but its been hanging on the reboot screen now for about 10 minutes trying to send installer to the iphone...the phone is just saying "please connect to itunes"

It's would be a pretty good idea to upgrade to 1.1.1. That's the common ground for most other unlocks. Unlocking it is very, very easy, too. Revirginize, upgrade, jailbreakme, install anysim, and you're done. There's a million guides out there.
