should i buy 3g or next generation?

i have been wanting and iphone since its release and i was wondering now i have the money, should i buy it now or wait for the new model?

if you tell me to wait please can you say when you think it will come out and any features that you know or have leaks of...

You can expect it to be released sometime over the summer (probably June/July). But in means of new features, there are no major rumors out now, just people's speculation and wish-lists. And even on that timeframe, there is no positive proof that it will be released then, that has just been what Apple did with the 1st and 2nd gens of the iPhone. But I'm waiting till then, still enough features missing to make me want to wait, even though most are all software, and could be updated via a software release, I want the most up-to-date stuff. And plus, I'm not 18 until April, and my parents won't back the contract for me, so I can't sign the cell-contract till then, so I'm stuck with Verizon.

what JML42691 is true. I actually would only expect 32GB around June and more hardware features around next year.
No rumors, that I know of, about new hardware. Some better specs would be logical but nothing rumored. Better camera for some, a front facing one, slimmer design, different material maybe.
I'd suggest buying the current one.

At least wait until MWSF next week, to see if any announcement are made regarding any update to the iPhone 3G
(BTW, 3G stands for the network technology & not the iPhone generation)
