Where its way too hot.
I currently have the Commodore 64 with 64kb of ram and an external 5'1/4'' floppy drive. I use it for word processing and surfing the net and occasional gaming (nothing heavy).

1. Will I see a huge speed jump on the new iMacs

2. Will graphics be much faster.

3. I hear about screen problems. will it be as nice as my zennith 13" tv.

Fake! The Commodore can't get on the Internet!

Nice try. :p

You got me. Actually it can. (get on the internet) Not by todays standards but 23-24 years ago I did get on what was called then BB (private boards) and you could also book airline tickets.

I love the new iMac specs btw. I just made the jump (from a PC) this past fall and absolutely love it. Would love to get the new 24" 3.04mhz beauty but will have to wait awhile. :(

20" imac aluminum 2.4 with 3 gig

If you have a Core2Duo-based computer, you really don't need to pony up the dough for a new iMac. I can tell a serious difference between a G5 and a C2D, but not just a faster C2D. That iMac of yours should last you at least another 2 years unless you're doing stuff that requires the latest guts.

FWIW, we're running G5 Power Macs here on OS9 apps (Quark, Photoshop). Oh to have new software. Fewer crashes, fewer printing errors. Donate now! :)

ya, my first "online" experience was with the C64 and that sweet 300 baud modem.

No, that C64 of yours still packs plenty of processor punch and should be able to handle all of your computing needs.

Who cares?! The C64 is a work of art and adds to the decor of your living room. Will an iMac do that? I don't think so.

This is a tough one. Is that Zenith a black and white? Those were some quality sets.
