Hi,

I've been thinking about getting one off ebay which has already been jailbroken but had a few questions.

First off, are they worth it? are they any good? I mean, I occasionally stream using tversity to my xbox 360 but would rather not have to use my xbox to do so. Is the quality good (example, hd quality - as good as netflix or is it a lot worse?) on the apps you can get once the apple tv is jailbroken.

I notice there are lots of apps for streaming live channels - how is the quality, what apps are used for any content? I do remember reading about one (forgot the name) which was similar to a torrent site which displayed tv shows/movies etc uploaded daily and you could pick which to watch.

Thanks

Nobody but you can decide if it "worth" it or not.

As far a quality, it is 720P max, and everything works just like in your Xbox, Netflix, Youtube, Vimeo and local Streaming display perfectly

Once you are Jailbroken, You can stream formats not supported by Apple from a Local NAS or Computer using Programs like Plex, XMBC or the ATVflash build-in media Player. You can install addon to watch online content Like Hulu, Comedy central, Food network, ABC, pretty much anything that have an online stream feed.

As far as watching broadcasting, and Torrents, there is no "legal" way to do that, and it is against this forum rules to discuss such.
