My local Walmart has marked down their 32gb pro's to $299. I currently have a mini 4, air 2, and a first gen 12.9 pro. Should I grab the 9.7 pro on clearance or get the new 10.5 for a lot more?

That's a good price, but I would go for the 10.5.

Looking at all the stuff you have, you know you're going to get it eventually, and you already have the 9.7 base covered..

I would get the 10.5 at B&H Photo or Adorama Camera free shipping and no tax. The 9.7 Pro isn't that much different than your Air 2. I have both the gen 1 12.9 and just got the new 10.5 and ProMotion is a game changer in the touch feel IMO.

Ask yourself which form factor would you rather have? The 9.7 or 10.5? You already own the 9.7 Air 2. Also, do you want the latest specifications With the 10.5 or does the 9.7 Pro interest you more.

The 9.7 at the price went out of stock overnight. I just paid off my 9.7 air 2 on Verizon edge program. I probably just will get a 10.5 on edge. I use my 12.9 lte daily but it gets cumbersome at times.

Usually it's lack of ram issues is why ipads go obsolete or get sluggish with ios updates. Get the 10.5 with 4gb of ram as the 9.7 iPP has the same amount of ram as your older ipads...

Go with the cheaper iPad. Not worth spending almost 3 times the cost for get the newest iPad. I just bought the 9.7 128GB w/ Keyboard for $450. The same thing for the 10.5 would cost almost $900. Pro motion is nice however I feel is overhyped. Also the extra ram is only going to be useful if you plan on editing video on your iPad.

May I ask where you live?I just upgraded my mini 2 to a mini 4, but at that price I would maybe consider a 2nd pro instead. Lol

No, not at all. And why in the world do you have 3 iPad's? The 12.9 is sufficient enough.

So I take it this was temporary and "in-store" only. I wish I'd have seen that before spending $100 more for one at best by. lol.
I wish this was still going. Lol!
