Hey guys! So I have a 16 GB iPhone 5, but the storage is currently running low, so I'd like to buy a second device to offset all of my games onto. I'm currently stuck between a nexus 4 (price just dropped to $250 for the 16 GB model) and a 16 GB iPod touch ($230). Since I'm invested in the apple ecosystem the ipod would be a no-brainer but I've been drooling over the nexus 4, and i'd like to give android a try since my last experience with it was with my god-awful HTC Thunderbolt (that phone drove me to the iPhone). While I love my iPhone, it would be nice to try android on a wifi-only device simply to have the best of both worlds and try something new. The nexus would be used on wifi only. Thanks in advance!!!!

If you're really yearning for something new then go the nexus route. Personally i feel the nexus devices serve as a great introductory to Android. There will be positives and negatives in purchasing the nexus 4. On the negative side you'll have missing titles and of course you'll need to repurchase games you bought on iOS.

On the positives, you have a larger screen and if its something that interests you emulators. Out of curiosity as you're only interested in wifi, have you considered the nexus 7? the 32gb model is not that much more expensive than the 16gb nexus 4.

I will disagree with everyone else here based on what you said, "you are looking to unload your games." If you go the nexus route you will be buying them all over again, and it could be pricey depending on your collection.

I have to second this. While the Nexus will be great, having to repurchase your games will not be cheap.

I'd buy a 32gb Nex7 anyday over a iPod Touch 32gb. With the $30 you'll save you can pickup most of the games you'd have to rebuy anyway.

I picked up a product red model for dev purposes and I love it! I use it at home (music/notifications/games) and on the go I have my i5 and I never worry about battery life since I alternate devices and with iOS 7 and notification sync, you will love the compatibility. Also, I love the finish on it as opposed to the N4. And having need to, you can turn it into a phone with wifi so that should not deter you.
